New sanctions cannot compel Iran to relinquish its rights: nuclear chief

altTEHRAN – Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Director Fereydoun Abbasi says that the new sanctions imposed on the Islamic Republic of Iran cannot compel the country to relinquish its rights to a peaceful use of nuclear technology.
 
Speaking to the Persian service of IRNA, Abbasi said that many technologies have been developed in Iran due to the sanctions imposed by the West.
